January is one of the best months to visit Orlando — mild, dry, and far more comfortable than the brutal summer. Highs sit around 20°C with lows near 11°C and low humidity, a welcome relief from the heat and afternoon storms of June-September. After the holiday crowds clear in the first week, mid-to-late January brings smaller crowds and shorter ride waits, plus lower hotel rates than the December peak. It's a strong window for first-time park visitors who want to avoid both the heat and the worst lines. Occasional cool snaps can push nighttime lows into single digits Celsius, so pack a light jacket for early mornings and evenings — daytime is usually short-sleeve weather. Rain is light this month compared with summer. Note: the very start of January still carries New Year crowds, and the Disney Marathon weekend draws visitors. From mid-month, conditions and value are both excellent.

February continues Orlando's best stretch — mild, dry, and comfortable, with highs around 22°C and lows near 12°C. Humidity stays low and rain is light, making it a top month for the parks before spring crowds arrive. Outside the Presidents' Day weekend (a busier US holiday in mid-February), crowds are manageable and ride waits are reasonable. It's a smart window for travelers who want good weather without the summer heat or Spring Break chaos that follows in March. Daytime is short-sleeve weather, but mornings and evenings can still be cool, so carry a light layer. With low humidity, walking the parks all day is far more pleasant than in summer. Note: Presidents' Day weekend brings a domestic-travel bump in crowds and prices; the rest of February is calmer and good value.

April is warm and relatively dry, with highs around 28°C — a comfortable month before the oppressive summer humidity sets in. It's one of the better weather windows of the year for the parks. Crowds depend heavily on Easter timing: Easter week can bring a spike, but the rest of April is calmer than the March Spring Break peak. Humidity is still moderate, so all-day walking is manageable. UV is high this month (index around 9), and the sun is strong even when the air isn't yet summer-sticky — reapply sunscreen, wear a hat, and drink plenty of water. Epcot's Flower & Garden Festival continues with gardens and food booths. Note: aim around (not on) Easter week for the best mix of good weather and reasonable crowds.
